Happy Hemlock! I’m so glad you’re stopping by today because I think this mint green shade is so lovely. It’s the perfect pastel for spring because it’s not too girly or baby-shower-ish, if you know what I mean. I have two sleeveless blouses in this shade (you can check out the other one here in a favorite end-of-summer outfit), but I chose to feature this one because of its fun textured pattern.

This outfit was another case of get-dressed-dash-outside-take-pictures-and-change (like yesterday’s post) because it was freezing again! And pardon the coloring of these photos–it was already getting dark by the time I was able to take this photos. Alas, I have worn this outfit in the past and will do so again because it’s feminine and pretty and the color palette is a departure from what I usually wear.

Thank you so much to everyone who wished me luck and sent me some prayers and good vibes concerning my job search. I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate it. You guys are the best.

So I’ve been thinking for awhile about hosting a regular weekly link party for any favorite outfit from the week and calling it Sunday Best. It’s a lot of fun building a community and getting inspiration from others and this link party would be relaxed and accept entries all week long. Would anyone be interested in linking up to that regularly? Let me know!

  1. This is my favorite outfit of yours EVER. You look absolutely lovely. It’s the prettiest combination of colors, and I can’t believe you found that skirt while thrifting. Gorgeous.

Sunday Best, love the name and the idea. I’d definitely be on board!

    1. You are the sweetest! Thanks so much, Danielle! I lucked out with the skirt, for sure. Fun fact: it has a blue marker stain on the front that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove, but I wear it anyway because you can hardly tell!

I am so excited that you’d be interested in the Sunday link party! Be sure to check back in the near future :)

  2. marissa, i love this outfit on you! the floral skirt is so pretty and i love your minty hemlock top! i also love the idea of a “sunday best” link up – that’s such a clever title! i think i would definitely participate in that type of link up.

  3. First of all you look gorgeous. What a pretty tank and skirt. I think this is your best and most girly outfit of yours, for this challenge so far. I love it. I pinned it too.

Secondly Sunday Best sounds awesome and I’ve thought about it, too. I’d support you 100%.

Last but not least I am sending positive vibes for you to find a job soon and you do the same for me =) since I’m on the same boat and also looking for a job.

Ohh and I linked up yesterday for the Blue. Check it out. I didn’t have a Hemlock Outfit for my 30 for 30 but I will be linking up with Freesia too. =)

    ENJOY THE WEEKEND, HUN!

    1. Thanks, Ada! This was definitely my favorite of the week, too!

I would love for you to link up to Sunday Best in the future :)

I am sending you so many positive vibes for your job search! We can do this! It’s such a difficult and trying journey, but hopefully one that will pay off.

  4. 1. Love the idea of a “Sunday Best” link up. I love “meeting” other bloggers and finding new blogs to follow and find inspiration from.
    2. That top is STUNNING.
    3. Your skirt is so pretty and looks gorgeous on you.
    4. Do you ever have a bad hair day? Even if you said “yes,” I don’t think I’d believe you.

    1. 1. So glad you’re on board!
      2. I love it too :)
      3. Aw thanks! It’s one of my best thrifting finds.
      4. YES. omg. This week it has been a frizzy and flat mess. Ugh. I try not to post bad hair days because it literally changes my ENTIRE look! My hair was pretty compliant during Pantone week, so yay!
